Veterans Accepting Their Role

In an era where some professional players have elevated opinions of themselves it is very refreshing to find a player who will accept their role. In its short history in Toronto the Marlies have had several players that left the fans with the impression that they felt they were too good to be playing for the Marlies and should be in the NHL, and for that reason left for Europe to ply their trade.

The season opener tonight at Ricoh!

Well folks,

the new 2008/09 AHL season is upon us but let's not forget the rewards we collected the last season:

The Marlies will be raising the 2007-08 North Division banner tonight at 7pm .

We, as a booster club, have claimed the prize of our own,
"The Broken Stick" Challenge award was claimed by our booster club!

Let's hope that the traditions we set last year will continue into this new season for both of our clubs!

Let's Go Marlies!

I'll see you tonight at the Ricoh.

Marlies release their season 08/09 schedule

Hello everyone!

summer here and I hope that you are, too.

I'd like to inform the folks that Marlies have released their season 08/09 schedule and glancing over it looks like she's gonna be a beaut! Lots of opportunities to travel with the team beginning with the game #2 in Cleveland ;)

Towards the end of August you'll see a lot more activities around these parts.
