Our Toronto Marlies made it official:
By getting a 2-0 victory against Grand Rapids tonight our boys clinched the North division title!
Congratulations to our boys for making the history.
Now, bring on the Calder Cup 2008!

We as a Booster Club have claimed a victory of our own:

Not sure how many of you have heard, but one of our own has made the final of the Million Dollar Shot Contest.

Now we can help to make sure he gets the chance to make the shot.
The next step for the five finalists is a fan vote. The person who receives the most votes will win the chance to shoot for the million. They say you can vote once a day per computer at the following address:

This weekend there are a couple things we are pushing at the table:

The American Hockey League has released the Clear Day Period lists for each of its 29 member clubs.

your booster club newsletter for the month of February'08 is finally here!
We owe you an explanation for the delay:
as you are all aware our boys were on the long road trip on the West coast and Central States thus no home dates; worth noting that many of our Marlies were called up by the big club in the month of January (Newbury, Ondrus, Pogge, Earl, Boyce). Our congratulations to all of them!

Now, a few updates on the booster club activities:

Our very own Justin Pogge will enter the AHL Chat Room on Feb. 12. Right now you can go to www.theahl.com to submit your questions to him. The link is at the bottom right hand side of the page next to the AHL Player/Rookie/Goaltender of the Month and AHL Player of the Week.
